Bogus User Profiles Created By The Site:
Probably the most common fraud that illegitimate dating sites use is the fabrication of dating profiles. This site is no exception to the rule. Naughtyfever.com is involved in the fabrication of illegitimate user profiles. Scouring through the site it quickly became evident that the site was not on the up and up. The photographs looked too good to be true, with many profile photos that look like porn models.
Our assumption became true when we double checked to see if they discussed the use of site created profiles in the terms and conditions. And not surprisingly they did discuss the fabrication of user profiles that their customer support representatives use for "marketing". When they say they use it for "marketing", they mean deceiving people. Some of the marketing tactics they use include the sham user profiles for include sending emails, as well as automated instant messages. We would have to estimate that over 80% of the user profiles of females have been created by the staff of Naughtyfever.com. This means that 80% of the user profiles on the site are phony.
There are a few reasons why dating sites create sham user profiles. One of the biggest reasons is that the amount of real females on the site is very, very low. This makes it difficult to attract men to join the site since in reality there aren't many women using it. So one dating network decided to create faux user profiles and since that time it seems more and more fraudulent dating sites have popped up making it very difficult for real people to meet one another. The large majority of adult dating sites are involved in this illegal fraudulent business of manufacturing user profiles including Naughty Fever.
(Do you think these are real Naughtyfever members? Think again, they are most likely all phony.)
Taken from the terms and condition pages:
"We create user profiles for use by our customer support representatives for the support, marketing, improvement of the Service, and in order for our Registered Users to experience the type of communications that they can expect as paying Members. Our customer support representatives are encouraged to speak with our members and also to stimulate conversation between members by making introductions or recommendations or just to chat with Users, for entertainment purposes. Additionally, the Website utilizes automated system profiles to communicate with Users to enhance our Users’ entertainment experience. You acknowledge and agree that some of the profiles posted on the Website that you may communicate with as a Registered User may be fictitious. The purpose of our creating these profiles is to provide our Registered Users with entertainment, to allow Registered Users to explore our Service and to promote greater participation in our Service.
The user profiles we create are not intended to resemble or mimic any actual persons. We may create several different user profiles that we attach to a given picture. You understand and acknowledge that we create these profiles and that these profiles are not based on or associated with any Registered User or Member of our Service or any other real person. You also acknowledge and agree that the descriptions, pictures and information included in such profiles are provided primarily for your amusement and to assist you navigate and learn about our Website. Any one of these user profiles may message with multiple Registered Users at the same or substantially the same times just like our Registered Users and Members."
Bogus Automated Messages:
Something else to look out for are the bogus automated messages. This is another very common tactic with fraudulent online dating services. To the untrained eye it looks as if real women are trying to email you. But the truth is that all the messages you receive are all automated and no women are actually sending you those messages. In under 15 minutes we have already received 11 messages, all of them were fake. When you receive 11 messages like we did all from nude women it has to raise a red flag if you have any common sense. Logic will tell you that there's no way that so many attractive looking women are going to be posting full frontal nude body shots of themselves with their face exposed, but that is exactly what happened to us. The trick here is that when you try to read any of the messages you need to upgrade. That's why they send so many automated messages to their members. Naughtyfever.com is desperately trying to get people to purchase a monthly membership. That's why the emails are very enticing, they are used to lure you in and in trap you into buying a membership.
Taken from the terms and condition pages:
"Both our live and automated user profiles, allow us to collect messages, instant chat and/or replies from individuals or programs for market research and/or customer experience… The messages they send are computer generated. Messages from the user profiles we create attempt to simulate communications so that should you become a paid Member you are encouraged to participate in more conversation and to increase interaction among fellow paid Members. We will, send automatic electronic communications to Users to ask how our members are using certain aspects of the Service and/or to stimulate conversation between members. Additionally, we will utilize our automated system profiles to communicate with Users to enhance our Users’ entertainment experience.
Customer Support Reps Paid To Interact With You:
Did you know that this site employs people called "customer support representatives" that are actually paid to interact with you. Their prime duty is to chat with you and also to "stimulate conversation". Stimulating conversation involves duties such as sending and replying to emails. This is all done because if you tried to reply back to any email communications you receive you will need to buy a full subscription.
So please be warned just because you find someone that is actually a real life person, it doesn't mean they are interested in meeting you. They're most likely paid to interact and chat with you as part of their employment by the site. Reading the terms and conditions they confirmed exactly what we predicted in that the site was involved in paying people to interact with you. You can take a look at the sentences from the terms and conditions (section i) below where they discuss using customer support reps to speak with their members.
Taken from the terms page:
"We create user profiles for use by our customer support representatives. Our customer support representatives are encouraged to speak with our members and also to stimulate conversation between members by making introductions or recommendations or just to chat with Users, for entertainment purposes
This Site Is For Adult Entertainment Purposes, Not To Meet Real People :
Naughtyfever.com has been created to "provide an adult entertainment experience". That is their primary goal and they admit to this in the terms and conditions. Their primary goal is not to connect real people with one another, no it's to give you adult entertainment. This dating service is not to meet real people in real life situations, it's merely an adult entertainment experience using sham emails and paid employees to entertainment you!
Taken from the terms page:
"Our primary purpose is to provide an adult entertainment experience. You understand and agree that there is no guarantee that you will find a date, a companion or an activity partner, or that you will meet any of our Users in person. The Website merely provides an adult entertainment experience to its Users..
We Can't Send Junk Email But The Site Sent Us Automated Messages:
When you create your profile on Naughtyfever.com you need to agree to the terms and conditions. One of these terms that you agree to is not to use the messaging service to send out junk e-mail or spam. But the site itself sends out what we consider to be spam to their users, in the form of automated email messages from people who are not even members of the same. The users cannot send out spam but the dating site itself can send you as much spam and automated junk email as possible.
Taken from the terms page:
"Some of our features provide Users with access to mail and/or profile comments. You agree not to use this feature of the Service to broadcast “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” or unsolicited mass distribution of files or images.
They Can Use Your Photos For Marketing Purposes:
If you uploaded any photographs in your member profile you should be aware that through their terms and conditions they admit that they use your photographs and other content in your profile for marketing purposes. So if you don't want your photographs being plastered on other adult dating sites we strongly suggest that you take them down immediately.
Taken from the terms and conditions page in section 5:
"We may modify, display, transmit, and create new material using your Content to support the operation of our systems, including but not limited to, providing introductions to other Users, assisting us in the formulation and transmission of communications to you, adding watermarks to profile images….
