- Automated Bots Used To Portray Real Members
- Paid Employees Deceitfully Pretend To Be Female Members
Make-Believe Female Members Created By The Staff:
One thing that is very disturbing is when dating sites create bogus female member profiles. The artificial profiles come with photographs and all types of personal information, the only problem is that they are completely embellished. These are computer generated or staff created female profiles. These are not real people looking to meet you. These fantasy profiles which are called "Love Hostesses" are used for two different reasons. The first reason is that most dating sites simply don't have the amount of men registering on a dating site compared to women. This is a problem for dating sites and the fraudulent dating businesses will go to the other extreme of fabricating imaginary profiles to give you the impression that the site has an equal amount of women compared to men. Secondly they use these sham profiles to deceive people by sending you fake messages. If you receive messages from an attractive looking girl you will be much more enticed to try to respond back, since you don't know that the girl is not a real member of the dating service. This gives the website the upper hand. It gives the owners of the website the tools to scam you by creating as many fake female profiles as they can create. This is not just a theory this claim is backed up real evidence that you can find in the terms and conditions.
Taken from the terms page:
"SOME OF THE PROFILES ON THE SITE, AND THAT SOME “MEMBERS” OF THE SITE ARE ACTUALLY FICTITIOUS PERSONS CREATED BY EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS OF SMOOCHY BRANDS (WellHello.com)"
Fake Email Messages:
Utilizing the fictitious profiles created by the staff this website is also involved in sending out automated make-believe email messages to their members. Specifically these emails are sent to male members of their service. Like we stated above these mock profiles are used to send fake emails. When you try to read the emails you are always asked to upgrade your profile before you can read the message. This is how they con you into purchasing a monthly subscription.
Taken from the terms page:
"YOU FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT SMOOCHY BRANDS MAY RESPOND TO YOUR COMMUNICATIONS TO LOVE HOSTESSES THROUGH EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR CHAT BOTS THAT IMPERSONATE THE FICTITIOUS PERSONS PORTRAYED IN SUCH “LOVE HOSTESS” PROFILES."
Fake Chat Messages:
Another thing we noticed while logged on to the site is on the right hand side of the screen we constantly had chat messages popping up. When we tried to respond to any of the chat messages we had to upgrade to chat. We could not just chat freely, we had to purchase a membership by upgrading. Once again this is all a deception using sham female profiles and then automated computer programs to send fictitious chat messages to members of the service.

Paid Employees Deceitfully Pretend To Be Female Members:
Imagine if your occupation was to scam people by pretending that you are a member of a dating service? You sit behind a computer desk and chat with people sending them emails and chat requests trying to trick them into buying a membership to a dating site. Surprisingly this is exactly what the staff from Wellhello.com do. They hire people and pay them to pretend to be members of the dating service. This is an actual fact that we found while reading and sifting through the terms and conditions of the site.

You Cannot File A Class Action Law Suit:
Once you create an account on Well Hello you agree to the terms and conditions of the site. One of these terms that you can't file a class action lawsuit against this website. They can create fake profiles, hire people to pretend to be interested in you and they can even send you sham email messages. But, when you try to get legal recourse against these people in a class action lawsuit apparently since you agree to the terms and conditions you cannot file a class action lawsuit against them! We find that hilarious that a website can do everything in their power to deceive you but when you try to counter that by going after them legally you cannot file any form of class action lawsuit against them in the court of law.

"You agree that any dispute between you and Smoochy Brands (WellHello.com) relating to the Site, the Services, or this Agreement must be individually resolved and that you will not join or consolidate your claim with claims of other members, or litigate any claims as a representative or member of a class or in a private attorney general capacity."
